INSTALLATION OF ANTENNA TUBE
  • Push antenna wire through the hollow antenna tube
  • Insert tube into the hole of the boat/car
  • Tie a knot at the top of the antenna tube, but do not pull the wire tight.
OPERATING AND CARING FOR YOUR PRODUCT
  • Turn OFF the boat/car after operating
  • Remove batteries from the boat/car and transmitter after use
  • Extend transmitter antenna to its full length for better transmission

CONTROL RANGE

If the boat/vehicle is driven beyond the radio signal range, there may be a loss of control. The outdoor distance range for most radio-control boats/cars is usually between 100 to 300 feet, subject to radio interference. Tip: Hold transmitter antenna up high for best reception.

Erratic behavior or loss of control of boat/car is sometimes caused by other boats/cars operating on the same frequency in an area surrounded by high-tension wires, telephone poles with high-voltage transformers, boats/cars operating CB radios, or even some types of buildings. If you encounter this problem, move to a better location.

CAUTION FOR CARS

  • Avoid water, heat, sand and high impact crashes
  • Keep vehicle away from wet surfaces or rain
  • Avoid running on thick carpet or dusty floors
  • Avoid collision on hard surface
  • Do not carry the car by pulling the antenna tube/wire
  • Do not operate the car on streets

CAUTION FOR BOATS

  • Do not operate your boat where there are water plants, rubbish, or other obstacles in the pond. This could impair the propeller and cause damage.
  • Do not use when there is a strong water current or when the wind is blowing strongly on the pond
  • Never use in salt water. This will cause rusting of parts
  • Do not use outdoors during thunderstorms
  • It is extremely dangerous to touch the propeller while it is spinning
  • When lifting your boat, make sure you hold the body securely
  • Drain all the water out of the hull, and wipe the boat with a towel or cloth after use. Ensure that the boat is dry before putting it away
  • Bring the boat back to shore (i.e., out of the water) before battery power runs out
  • DO NOT carry the boat by pulling the antenna tube/wire
  • NEVER use chemicals including benzene, alcohol or thinner

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Can two vehicles/boats be used at the same time?
A: It depends on the frequencies the products use. Two or more products with the same frequency cannot be used at the same time. To check what frequency your product is using, see the front of the window box of the vehicle/boat. There is a sticker indicating which frequency it uses (27mhz or 49mhz).

Q: What is the range of a R/C vehicle/boat?
A: For full-function products, such as the 1:12 to 1:20 scale products, the range is up to 300 feet. Other products have a range of up to 100 feet.

Q: Does NKOK sell any parts? What if I have a defective part?
A: While we do not sell replacements parts, if you need parts (defective or not), give us a call at our toll-free number 888-656-5869.
